Josephine Haskins
Founding partner
Josephine leads the firm’s police misconduct and jail cases.
Josephine began her career defending people charged with crimes. She read a great many arrest reports and watched how often the video told a different story. She started this firm to bring the other kind of case: the one where the person arrested is the one who sues.
She handles cases from the first records request through trial and appeal, and she still drives out to see every scene herself.
Cases
- Excessive force
- False arrest
- Jail injuries and neglect
- Wrongful death
